While Xiaomi’s chief executive did not specify that the Redmi K50 Pro+ is the beneficiary of the new chipset. We can only guess that the reviews refer to the Redmi K50+.

The Dimensity 9000 is based on MediaTek’s newest processor family and is fabricated using the latest state-of-the-art 4nm manufacturing process. It ranks high in terms of power and efficiency. The processor consists of a Single-core Cortex-X2, Triple-Large Cortex-A710 and four small cortex-A510 This system is paired with a Mali-G710 GPU. This silicon wafer is made by TSMC.

That said, the vanilla Redmi K50 is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 870 from Qualcomm and the Redmi K50 Pro is likely to get the Dimensity 8100 SoC from MediaTek.
